Can I apply for a small grant of £7.5K or below?
Yes. As long as you are a UK registered charity. But the conditions, specific to this category, are included on the online application process, specifying what we fund and what we don't.
Can I apply for a major grant of £7.5K and above?
Not directly. We do not have the capacity to deal with large numbers of unsolicited appeals. Much of our funding is already committed to our proactive, researched programmes. But you can approach the various executive directors direct, as long as you fulfil the criteria we specify. See the relevant pages for detail.
If my application is not supported how long do I have to wait before I can reapply?
12 months.
Can I speak to someone to get more information?
Yes. The Grants Administrator will give general advice but we would ask that you look at the website beforehand, to find out what categories we support.
Shall I send an unsolicited appeal?
Please don't. We would advise reading the detail on the website beforehand and, if necessary, contacting a relevant staff member, following the procedure we specify.
