The Rank Foundation has a vital role in developing communities and inspiring leadership. Together with the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, we invite community organisations (with at least two signatories on the bank account) to make an application for funding to increase community capital. These include:
- hosting an event or activity
- purchasing new equipment or materials
- setting up a pilot project or starting up a new group
- expenses for volunteers, pay for workers and professional fees
- transport costs
We estimate that each grant will be in the region of £500. Grants will be approved by a local decision-making panel who meet quarterly. Applications for our November meeting are now closed. Further information about grant dates will be available in due course.
Please note: Successful applicants should wait one year from their original application date to apply again for a Hull Community Development Programme Activity Grant. Multiple applications within one year will not be considered.
