CTVC

CTVC is the media-arm of the Rank Foundation.  For over 30 years, CTVC has created award winning, innovative content on social issues, current affairs, ethics, history and religion for broadcasters including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Five, MTV, Radio 1, Radio 4, BBC World Service, and for its own on-line educational site TrueTube.

Recent and upcoming commissions include Save The Family (2x60, Factual: BBC2); Being Victor (20x 5’, MTV.co.uk); Iraq's Forgotten War (Current Affairs: BBC Radio 4).

Alongside their commissioned work for broadcast media, CTVC also work with youth groups and young film-makers to produce films which are used to teach PSHE, Citizenship and RE, distributed by TrueTube.co.uk and supported by lesson plans and curricular resources.

CTVC also runs Boldface Productions, a training programme for youth groups, communities and schools to help teenagers express themselves creatively through film, empowering themselves and their communities and improving their employability and life-skills in the process. Currently, they are working with community groups in Leyton, Newham and Salford and will be expanding these activities in 2011.

CTVC are passionate believers in the power and importance of media to educate, challenge and inspire.
